Siem Reap is a cheerful and intricate town in northwestern Cambodia. It is the gateway to one of the wonders of the world the ruins of Angkor, the site of successive capitals of the Khmer kingdom from the 9th to the 15th centuries. It is certainly a very good place to volunteer and learn new habits and lifestyles.

PROJECT DETAILS
In this program, you will help to regenerate elephant habits. As a volunteer, you will plant trees, collect seeds, and make trails in deforested landscapes in the northern Cambodia. There is no bathing with elephants here any longer.
Weather
The temperature typically varies from 21°C/70°F to 35°C/95°F and is rarely below 17°C/64°F or above 38°C/102°F.
The hot season lasts for 2.1 months, from March 12 to May 16, with an average daily high temperature above 93°F. The hottest day of the year is April 17, with an average high of 95°F and low of 81°F.
The cool season lasts for 3.7 months, from September 26 to January 15, with an average daily high temperature below 87°F. The coldest day of the year is January 1, with an average low of 70°F and high of 85°F.

Schedule
The week begins on Mondays, so you will be picked you up around 8am, then you’ll have a lunch break between 11:30am until 1pm. The volunteer finishes around 4 pm.The week ends on Sunday when we would take the volunteers back to Siem Reap around 1pm.

What is included in the Program Fee?
● Shared volunteer accommodation during your volunteering
period. ( Sharing with at least of 2 volunteers).
● 3 meals per day ( All meals are vegetarian).
What’s your program fee not included?
• Airfares and all transportation to arrive at Siem Reap Inter-
national Airport REP.
• Your travel health insurance.
• Visa costs for Indonesia (possible visa extensions) and vac-cinations.
• Personal expenses like your tours and weekend meals
• Your Transport to Siem Reap International Airport REP or other location at end of your volunteering placement
Volunteer's Task
Creating and organizing activities for classes.
Volunteers will check tests, exams and develop short pair work and extra activities to improve the skill of English.
Requeriments
The minimum period for volunteering is 1 week.
Age Requirement: minimum 18 years old.
Language: A good knowledge of the English language and clear conversational skills.
Payment
Deposit A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking once your application form has been accepted. The remaining 50% of your payment is due 1 month prior to your arrival. Banking details will be provided upon confirmation of your application.
Cancellation Policy Your 50% deposit will not be refunded should you cancel your participation in the project at any time. If you cancel your booking less than 30 days before your start date, you will not be eligible for a refund of any kind. We can put all money paid towards a different date if you wish to reschedule your volunteer experience. Fees are to cover administration work and the opportunity cost of being unable to fill your position at the last minute. Once you arrive, if you decide to leave the project early for any reason, Cheetah Experience will be unable to refund you in any way.
