PADI Diving Certification: As part of our organization, we have partnered with a local PADI Certified dive instructor who can certify volunteers through the following courses: Open water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster as well as specializations within those qualifications. Volunteers have two options for undertaking the diving certifications: 1. Volunteers organize when they would like to dive by communicating with the dive instructor after they have arrived. Volunteers choose to undertake the course either during the week or on the weekend depending on their preference. 2. Alternatively, volunteers can choose to arrive earlier than normal to undertake the course before they arrive. This means the volunteer will not have to sacrifice time from the volunteering schedule or from their free time at the weekend. Volunteers will be collected from the airport on Friday and delivered directly to Tianyar to start the course on Saturday morning. Accommodation will be free to stay over the weekend, but volunteers are
required to pay for food (USD $10 per day for 3 meals). Volunteers will be busy diving in the morning but during the afternoons the volunteers will be free to relax or explore as they wish.
